Residence Hall rooms are furnished with the following furniture for each resident:

· Extra-long twin bed (36" x 80")

· Desk with chair

· Dresser

· Closet

· Bookshelf

· Bulletin board

· Towel bars

The rooms are also supplied with window coverings, a mirror, and a ceiling light. Private telephone, cable television, and Ethernet data connections are also provided. MicroFridges (i.e. microwave oven/freezer/refrigerator combination unit) are provided in all rooms.

You should bring bedding for an extra-long twin bed (i.e. mattress pad, sheets, bedspread/comforter, pillow, pillowcase), towels (e.g. wash cloth, hand towel, bath towel), a desk lamp, a wastebasket, a telephone, an alarm clock, clothes, and room decorations.

What furnishings are not allowed?

Lamps with halogen bulbs (e.g. torchiere-style floor lamps) are NOT allowed due to the higher temperature/fire hazard of halogen bulbs. Due to electrical power and space limitations, you may not bring a refrigerator or microwave oven.
