If you are in need of short-term or interim housing, please consult the options below for assistance. Although we encourage you to contact us to make sure, we are typically unable to accommodate short-term stays in the on-campus apartments or in Family Housing.

All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to consider living arrangements early in order to secure accommodations near to campus in time to fit their specific needs.

Community Living

UCR Housing offers a wide array of distinct living styles within an equally diverse price range. However, we do rely on the private off-campus community to supplement our Housing Options for the University's many students, faculty, staff, and associates. If living in the private community surrounding UCR is something you wish to pursue, we invite you to tour the Community Living webpage.

Guest House

We have a guest house in our Family Housing Community which is available for short-term housing for visiting guests that have affiliation with the University. For inquiries, please contact Housing Services at (951) 827-6350.

International Residence & UCR Extension Center

The International Residence Center & UCR Extension Center may have availability at various times throughout the year. Contact their office at (951) 827-1708 or send inquiries to info@ucx.ucr.edu.

International Village Student Apartments

An application for short-term housing for the months of July and August may be downloaded here.  Availability varies; please make accomodation arrangements as far in advance as possible.
