Stonehaven offers the best elements of contemporary apartment living and residential life. Opened in the Fall of 2000, Stonehaven was designed for the ease and comfort of college living. Residents can rent on a per bed or per apartment basis, facilitating individual needs.
This all-inclusive housing community lets students concentrate on school, not living requirements. Rent includes a fully furnished apartment, high-speed Ethernet data connectivity, expanded basic cable TV, and independent connections for individual phone line use. Utilities include water, trash, gas, and an electrical allowance as part of the monthly rate.
These fully furnished units offer a multitude of benefits in apartment living. Kitchens include refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, and stove/oven, together with extensive cabinet space. The living area's are fully carpeted and feature dual paned windows with blinds for maximum comfort and quiet. Bedrooms feature extra-long twin beds with headboards and high quality mattresses, under bed storage, desks, full sized closets, and a full, private bathroom. All apartments have self-controlled heating and air-conditioning.
Stonehaven also includes extensive security features including perimeter fencing, controlled parking access, security cameras throughout the project, and 24-hour on-site management.
Located on the North side of campus, the beautifully landscaped Stonehaven grounds are gated and monitored by security cameras. The centrally located pool and expansive sundeck along with the sand volleyball and basketball courts beckon residents to accept their tonic for academic stress. A secure laundry room and bicycle storage area, as well as a television lounge, vending machines, and designated carwash area round out the facility amenities. The Stonehaven Front Office also provides mail and faxing services, and equipment check-out (E.G. tools, vacuums, recreational gear, etc.).
The Residence Life staff is eager to provide you with experiences that help foster a community and personal satisfaction. They will offer you the opportunity throughout the year to attend and participate in a variety of programs, events, and activities. The Residence Life staff has undergone one of the most rigorous training processes on campus. They are extremely approachable and always available to assist student residents with maintenance and health emergencies, as well as personal dilemmas and roommate conflicts.
