Experience our Host Program
Come stay overnight in on-campus housing with a resident student engaged in your college major of interest. Attend social and cultural activities sponsored by Housing programming staff. Accompany your student ambassador to class where you can meet and visit with other students and faculty.
If this experience sounds exciting to you, contact a Host Program Representative at (951) 827-6500 for more details.
Submit an application or contract online!
Once you have submitted your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) with UCR, you will be able to use your campus-issued identification numbers to submit an application/contract for on-campus housing, as appropriate. Please keep in mind that some of the campus-issued ID numbers you will need in order to submit a housing application/contract are not issued until your SIR is received. They may not be available to you for at least three (3) business days after your SIR is received.
We recommend that you submit your application/contract for any on-campus housing as soon as possible after submitting your SIR to UCR. All housing submissions are placed on an Assignment List based on the date on which the application/contract is received. Submitting an application/contract does not guarantee accommodations or style preferences. You will be notified when your on-campus preference is available.
Campus Apartment and Family Housing applications are accepted and assigned on a year round basis.
Residence Hall Contracts and First Payments are due by the following dates, although requests may be made and can sometimes be accommodated outside of normal deadlines.
