Job Opportunities

Student jobs within Housing Services are part-time, requiring students to work between 12 and 19 hours per week. Positions are located all around campus.

Work-Study

We are a Federal Work-Study-friendly employer and reserve positions for recipients each year. Work-Study positions open during the beginning of September, the start of the academic year. Learn more about Work-Study.


Leadership Opportunities

The Peer Review Board (PRB) and Resident Associations are two ways to gain hands-on experience while living on campus.

Apply for the Peer Review Board

Apply for the Peer Review Board (PRB), a panel of 30-40 residents who adjudicate student conduct violations. PRB members learn how to analyze and interpret policies and learn about ethical decision-making, policy formation and restorative justice, while making a difference in their community. Although recruitment begins fall quarter, applications are accepted year-round.

Applicants must:

  • Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate UCR student living in any of our residential communities
  • Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Be in good conduct standing with UCR Housing Services

Join Your Resident Association

From marketing and technology assistants to executive cabinet members, Residents Associations have plenty of ways to gain leadership skills while improving the quality of their community. All residents are eligible to join.
