Child Development Center

Find childcare close to home. Accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood, the UCR Child Development Center (CDC) provides a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for children aged two months to five years old. Subsidized childcare is available to UCR students who qualify.

Campus Safety

Working in conjunction with UCR Police and emergency medical services, we provide prevention and response safety services to ensure a comfortable environment for our students, staff and faculty.

Residential communities are within walking distance of the Student Recreation Center (SRC). The SRC includes a weight room, cardio areas, and basketball, tennis, racquetball, volleyball and badminton courts.

The hallmark of UCR on-campus living is our Residence Life program. Residence Life staff schedule programs, events and activities throughout the year, as well as provide direct assistance – both of a housing and personal nature – to student residents during and after "regular business hours."

There are 10 computer labs throughout our communities, featuring printing and lab support. Residents living in Residence Halls or Glen Mor have access to The Escape, a 24/7 gaming lounge stocked with the latest gaming titles.

The Campus Health Center, located in the center of our residential communities, provides preventative care, women’s health, on-site pharmacy, dental, optical, clinical laboratory and immunization services.
