Residence Hall Contracts have quarterly deadlines, but may be accommodated to other times. Campus Apartment and Family Housing applications are accepted on a year-round basis.

Deadline and Guarantee
Important Deadlines
Submit your application/contract for campus housing as soon as possible after submitting your SIR to UCR. Housing requests are placed on an assignment list, which is based on the date the application or contract is received.
Guaranteed Housing
Newly admitted, single freshman students are guaranteed on-campus housing for their first year if they meet all Housing deadlines.

Payment Schedule
View or print your payment schedule for the current or upcoming year. Payment schedules show monthly and quarterly plans.
Renew Your Campus Apartment
Renew to Save
Don’t pay rent for two months! Campus Apartment residents who choose to renew for the next academic year stay July and August payment free.

Guardian Scholars
The Guardian Scholars Program provides former foster youth with a network of support, which includes a year-round housing option. Visit Guardian Scholars for more information.
Student Athletes
Student athletes who need supplementary housing accommodations, in accordance with their athletics schedule, can make arrangements by contacting a Housing Representative or call (951) 827-6350.
