Oban Family Housing

About the Community

A commitment to family. A commitment to education. You really can find both. And finding them in one convenient location means you do not have to compromise either of the two competing priorities in your life.

Oban Family Housing is a collection of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment homes directly adjacent to the UCR campus. Interiors are smartly outfitted with stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers and central heating/cooling.

Our Residential Education team offers an extensive calendar filled with family-oriented activities to help build a strong community environment and reduce your family’s need to travel far for family-friendly entertainment.

The nearby Center for Early Childhood Education gives UCR students access to childcare and kindergarten classes for children between the ages of two months and five years old. If your children are a bit older, public and private schools can also be found near the campus.
