            What's in the name?
Aberdeen-InvernessThe original Residence Halls at UC Riverside were named after two Scottish cities linked by the famed Aberdeen-Inverness railway. The line stretches from Aberdeen, Scotland’s third-largest city, located on the coast of northeast Scotland, to Inverness in the Highlands. Originally, Aberdeen, A and B wings, was all male. Inverness, D and E wings, was all female. By the early 1970s, the twin-residences became fully coeducational.
Room Types
Double

The most common living arrangements in the Residence Halls are triple-occupancy rooms. Triple rooms are same-gender.
