Welcome to your new home at UC Riverside! Welcome Week is designed to help you transition into campus life, meet your neighbors and explore everything UCR Housing has to offer. From social mixers to informational sessions, this week is all about building your Highlander community and finding friends among the more than 15,000 residents! While most social events are highly encouraged to help you meet people, some LLC informational sessions are mandatory for students living in those communities. Please refer to the event schedule for specific details.
Welcome Week events are primarily exclusive to current UCR Housing residents. Guests are generally not permitted at resident-only events due to capacity and safety regulations.
Yes! Residents are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend events in other communities. This helps you get to know the campus better and gives you the opportunity to meet new people.
Welcome Week activities are completely free for all UCR Housing residents!
