About the Community
Dundee is our new state-of-the-art Residence Hall featuring more than 800 beds in two seven-story residential towers. The community includes a host of amenities — including a fitness center, hall lounges, and outdoor recreation areas. Dundee sits adjacent to the new two-story Glasgow Residential Restaurant, which features a convenience store, exhibition bakery, and indoor/outdoor dining opportunities.

What's in the name?
Dundee
Dundee is the fourth-largest city in Scotland, located in the Eastern Lowlands, on the Firth of Tay, which flows into the North Sea. The city began as a “Royal Burgh” in the late 13th century, and later became one of Scotland’s major trading and whaling ports — and for a century or so, the center of world jute production.
The name "Dundee" is made up of two parts: the common Celtic name “dun,” meaning fort; and a second part that may derive from the Gaelic “dè,” meaning 'fire'.
Double
The most common living arrangements in the Residence Halls are double-occupancy rooms. Double rooms are predominantly same gender. Opportunities for assignments without regard to gender identity exist in Dundee North, 4th Floor.
Single
A limited number of single-occupancy rooms are available.
